Mixed Feelings, mostly due to the "study" portion of this Bible. December 5, 2013
While it seems there is no KJV for this Chronological Study Bible the main drawback is the so called study portion of this Bible. There are far too many comparisons of God's word to the pagan religions of it's day. It seems as though the editors tried to marginalize God's word by hinting that it is very similar to the worship of the gods of its day. If only the text is read then it is a great way to study the Bible.
I would suggest reading the Reese Chronological Bible instead. This is not a study Bible, just a Bible in chronological order. The main thing I have learned from the Nelson Chronological Study Bible is that you must screen your study Bibles, not all are created equal!
I hope this helps!
