Bethany Hamilton

Sixteen-year-old Bethany Hamilton lives to surf in Kauai, Hawaii. She is the best-selling author of Soul Surfer. She has been featured in Life, Self, Time, Time Kids, People, Teen People, Sports Illustrated, O Magazine, YM, Teen Vogue, Glamour, and other major magazines. She was the recipient of the 2004 MTV Teen Choice Courage Award.
