Ben Pearson

Ben Pearson is an acclaimed filmmaker and photographer from upstate New York with numerous awards, honors and gallery shows to his credit. He has made his home in Nashville for the last nineteen years, where he lives with his wife Elaine and their three children. Ben co-wrote and directed the cinematography for the dramatic feature The Second Chance (2006 – Sony Pictures Releasing). He recently made his directorial debut with the feature-length documentary Kabul 24 (2008), a riveting account of the eight Western aid workers captured and held hostage by the Taliban in the weeks prior to 9/11. Ben is currently co-writing and preparing to direct the cinematography for the screen adaptation of the New York Times best selling memoir Blue Like Jazz.
