At the Yo-Ho-Ho Opening and Closing Shows, the Commodore (aka Children's Director) will oversee the boarding and disembarking of the elementary and preschool shipmates each day. After being confined to the ship most of the day, the lads and lasses will propel themselves into the kid-tested games as a much-needed outlet for movement that will also help process the biblical lessons they've learned in kid-appropriate ways. At zee Cheesecurl Cave Snacks and Science site, you will have plenty of time to practice your culinary techniques with French Pea pirates, Jean-Claude and Philippe. And do not fret. You will have many other young apprentices to assist as you make a magnifique concoction of science and food experiences.

And the pièce de résistance is the connection that your young apprentices will make between zee yummy food and zee Bible heroes zey are learning about. Tres bien, oui?

Your worship crew and worship leader will start each day with active songs from the Yo-Ho-Ho Worship DVD, including choreography for the VBS theme song, "Calling All Heroes." After a movie clip from The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything and a slapstick pirate skit, the worship team will turn it back to the music with more quiet, worshipful songs. Lyrics and exciting imagery on the DVD can be projected on a large screen or wall.

At Squawk-Along Songs and Games preschool site, he joins the Admiral to teach kids the Bible Memory Verse and Daily Challenge. At Whipcrack Island Games elementary site, he starts each day off with a gag where kids must find where he is hiding in the room. Pip can also be used as a fun prop for the Yo-Ho-Ho Show set.

In this VBS, kids will gain something more lasting than pirate treasure! Each day, kids are challenged to hide the treasure of God's Word in their hearts. The Bible Memory Verse Doubloons (or, pirate coins) are imprinted with the day's theme and Bible memory verse. Each pack includes ten sets, enough to service ten children.
