Voices of the most powerful & impacting book I've read in a very long time! March 28, 2012

AS I read the incredible accounts of real missionaries in the fields I was shocked & amazed. Sitting back in our armchairs, most of us have any realization that there are missionaries overseas who are facing real-life, sometimes even perilous situations. I was so excited & inspired reading their individual accounts of witnessing God's power to touch & change lives, to "work all things for the good", even the most strange & disasterous situations, & to intervene on behalf of His servants - even sometimes doing miracles to rescue & protect them.
To be honest, I didn't quite finish reading this book. My 18 year old niece Kayla was leaving the San Diego area for a 2-year missions trip, & I felt the Lord wanted me to mail "Voices of the Faithful" to her before she left. So, I just stopped reading it & sent it off to her. So far she has served 4 1/2 months in South Africa, & is now in the Philippines. I know this book has been a valuable source of comfort & encouragement to her, & I am so thankful to God for using Nelson publishers & Booksneeze to provide this wonderful book so that I could pass it on to Kayla.
