Patsy Clairmont (Coauthor)
An original Women of Faith® speaker, Patsy Clairmont combines quick wit and depth of biblical knowledge in a powerful pint-size package. A recovering agoraphobic with a pronounced funny bone, Patsy speaks to women from all walks of life. Patsy and her husband, Les, live in Tennessee.
Barbara Johnson (Coauthor)
Barbara Johnson guided millions of hurting women through the tunnel of despair with her best-selling books including Plant a Geranium in Your Cranium, Living Somewhere Between Estrogen and Death, and Stick a Geranium in Your Hat and Be Happy. She and her husband, Bill, founded the non-profit Spatula Ministries which helps parents in crisis. She died of cancer in 2007 at the age of 79.
Nicole Johnson (Coauthor)
Nicole Johnson is a writer and performer of original drama. With over twenty years experience as an actor, producer, and author, Nicole’s unique gift sets her apart in the world of communication. Through her work with Women of Faith, The Revolve Tour, and Dr. Neil Clark Warren, Nicole’s work has touched the lives and hearts of millions. She resides in Santa Monica, California, with her husband and two children.
Marilyn Meberg (Coauthor)
Marilyn Meberg speaks each year to 350,000 women at the Women of Faith conferences and is the author of several books. Never one to avoid the hard questions of life, Marilyn Meberg shares the wisdom she's gained from two master's degrees and a private counseling practice.
Sandi Patty (Coauthor)
Sandi Patty has amassed more awards than any other female vocalist in contemporary Christian music history. She's been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, received thirty-nine Dove® Awards, five Grammy® Awards, and three RIAA-certified platinum and five gold recordings. It is Sandi's down-to-earth style that has endeared her to Women of Faith® audiences. Sandi is the author of seven books, including The Edge of the Divine. Sandi and her family live in Oklahoma City, OK.
Jan Silvious (Coauthor)
Jan Silvious is an author, professional life coach, and popular speaker known for her biblically sound, psychologically positive answers to women's challenges. Jan's no-nonsense yet humorous style captivates and motivates her audience. Co-host (with Kay Arthur) for a call-in radio program for five years, Jan spoke for eight years with WOF. Sheila Walsh (Coauthor)
Sheila Walsh, Women of Faith speaker, is the author of the award-winning Gigi, God's Little Princess series, God Loves Broken People, The Shelter of God's Promises, The Storm Inside, and a novel, Sweet Sanctuary. Sheila lives in Frisco, Texas, with her husband, Barry, and their son, Christian.
Thelma Wells (Coauthor)
"Freedom," says Thelma Wells, "comes when you are not dependent on any human being to design your life and your attitude for you; when you realize nobody is responsible for your happiness but you." She should know! Thelma overcame childhood abuse and poverty to become the happy, successful woman you see today. The first black woman to become an Assistant Vice President of a commercial bank, Thelma went on to organize an international speaking and consulting company (for which she received the Small Business Administration's Entrepreneur of the Year Award), earn a master's degree, and become a college professor. Last year Thelma was awarded an honorary doctorate - but she says we don't have to call her "Dr. Wells". Her new book, What These Girls Knew, takes a look at women in the Bible and what they have to tell us today. Thelma and husband George live in Texas, enjoying their children and grandchildren.
Carol Kent (Coauthor)
Carol Kent is hilariously funny, biblically sound, and heartbreakingly transparent in person and in print. Founder and president of Speak Up for Hope (a prison ministry) and Speak Up Speaker Services (a speakers bureau), Carol is an expert on public speaking, writing, and evangelism. She sits on the advisory boards of MOPS International and the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. She travels the world speaking to tens of thousands each year at events such as Praise Gathering, Vision New England Congress, THRIVE, Extraordinary Woman, Women of Joy, and Women of Faith.
Mary Graham (Coauthor)
Mary Graham is president of Women of Faith (WOF), a division of Thomas Nelson, Inc., which hosts America’s largest women’s conference. Since 1996, over three million women have attended Women of Faith conferences in 80 cities. Mary serves as host for the conference and works closely with speakers and musicians. In the WOF offices, she directs 75 employees and supervises all phases of the ministry, including WOF publishing and recording. Prior to joining Women of Faith, Mary was director of international ministries for Insight for Living. She also invested 22 years with Campus Crusade for Christ International. A graduate of California State University in sociology, her work has taken her to every continent, and she has lived in many parts of the U.S.
