The secret of communication is to understand that it a complex matter. However, respecting its complexity requires an endeavor to better understand it. Finally, the understanding should be translate into a good preparation. Like all complex things in life, communication requires a structured and logical approach. Once you have converted into small parts, half the problems are already solved. However, where most of us stumble is finding the right approach.

Ken Davis has written the book "Secrets of Dynamic Communication". He proves his mastery over the process of communication, by defining a very clear road-map to approach communication. His step-by-step guide to make one understand the importance of preparation.

His S.C.O.R.R.E. methodology ) is easy to understand and follow.
S - Subject
C - Central theme
O - Objective
R - Rationale
R - Resources
E - Evaluation

Whether you want to communicate spontaneously or planning a speech before a million people, his SCORRE method ensures that we are ready to face the challenge. His books is not just a planning tool but also a motivational one. It makes one a good communicator from being an ordinary one... then, makes you a better one ... and finally a dynamic communicator. I am sure the reader will gain insights into importance of preparation. He has also given pointers about managing time and introducing humor to retain attention of listeners. Through this book, he helps us to make all the right noises necessary to elicit understanding, appreciation and applause.

I've read many books to improve my communication and after reading this, I don't think I'll be looking for another one. As Ken says, If you prepare with focus; Deliver with Clarity and Speak with Power, you will certainly SCORRE high. (Posted on 10/2/2013)

I hate public speaking. 20 years ago I would have a panic attack and get hives over speaking in public. This has been an area of great stretching in my life. G-d keeps putting me in a position where I have to speak to rooms of 15- 250. I am not great at it. I also have no idea what I am doing!
This book helps with that.
"It takes the reader through the process of selecting and developing a theme, giving it focus, fleshing it out, and communicating well with the audience. The first half is devoted to preparation, the second to delivery."

Knowing the audience, setting the stage and delivering a speech that is properly put together are all skills you will learn and how to utilize in this book.

SCORRE is an acronymn that Ken Davis has come up with in order to help us remember the process of creating and giving a speech. While I will still be relying on G-d to do any public speaking, I feel as though I will be better prepared for what He asks me to do. Also I LIKE PLANS and I am fond of lists. This book gave me a step by step plan to follow. (Posted on 8/30/2013)
