Just what we were looking for! March 7, 2013
We are so thankful for Nerdy Ned!!! My 2nd grade son has recently become an avid reader. He has been reading from the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid which he gets at the school library. The books are fun and engaging, but full of crude humor. I didn't think we would be able to find anything that would hold his attention as much as these books. And then we found Nerdy Ned! My son immediately went through and read all of the cartoons. I loved hearing him laugh and he enjoyed sharing the captions with us. He continues to work his way through the book enjoying the space to draw his own cartoons. He has already pointed out that it says Nerdy Ned Series so we're hoping there will be many more to follow!
